OUR PHILOSOPHY

At V.I.PAWSITIVE PET SERVICES LLC, we believe that pets are members of the family and deserve the same level of care and attention as their owners. We treat every pet in our care with love, respect, and compassion.

HOW WE BEGAN

V.I.Pawsitive originally started as K9 Pawsitive Training Corp in 2016 when trainer Paul Lopez began his new found mission and passion in life as a certified dog training graduate. After a few years, Keiner, his spouse, discovered his growing passion for animals as he helped and supported Paul with work. Together they decided to grow their project now known as V.I.Pawsitive Pet Services and offer more services as a home-based family business, such as Dog daycare, boarding, pet transport, training, and more to come.

Together they decided to grow their project now known as V.I.Pawsitive Pet Services LLC and offer more services as a home-based family business. such as Dog daycare, boarding, pet transport, training, and more to come. Keiner's hands-on experience along-side Paul is solid and growing daily hand-in-hand with his Trainer Apprenticeship.  At the beginning of 2023, they will be launching their Rescue Behavioral Rehabilitation non-profit program to assist in the rescue process and help make the pets more adoptable through training and behavior modification.

 Paul Lopez's education and his dedicated dog training experience gives him a unique set of credentials with which to achieve objectives in dog training and animal behavior.  Paul holds a B.S. in Philosophy & Humanities (which includes: psychology, ethics, politics & sociology). For twenty years, he worked for community & church volunteer groups and services doing intensive family and domestic resolutions. He personally witnessed the many obstacles and emotional difficulties with which families are forced to contend. He also has dedicated years of service as a veterinary assistant and animal services as a volunteer at MIAMI-DADE ANIMAL SERVICES. His approach with families was the same as his approach is to training dogs in the home.  He assesses the problems in a holistic manner, works together with the family to establish a plan of action, and executes that plan. All too often, the alternative is to remove the problem from the house: getting rid of the dog . . . when all it really takes is some training, education and creating a safe environment for your dog.  Paul devotes his time to teaching people how to create calm, harmonious relationships with their dogs using effective, positive reinforcement training methods. In the years he has been engaged in dog training, he has become a well-respected member of the people/dog-training community in Miami, Miami Beach, and other areas of South Florida.  He is a proud  graduate of the Animal Behavior College. His personal love is correcting unwanted behavior in dogs and training humans to positively connect with their dogs. Paul has trained and created harmony in several parent-dog households. He:

• Teaches puppy and dog group classes
• One-on-one dog or puppy classes in the comfort of your own home
• Creates programs in and out of home to teach children how to train their own dog or puppy
• Lectures in community settings
• Does demonstrations at various locations including condo and apartment building group classes.
• Creates behavior modification programs
• Tailors curriculum to teach various levels of dog and puppy training

His expertise is seeing what the problem is and correcting the problem without using pain, force or fear.  When you call Paul the dog trainer, you get Paul, not another dog trainer within an organization. It brings him great joy to see a dog and their loved ones blossom from a once-dysfunctional household into a harmonious, happy household.  He recently achieved his 

Feline Behavior and Training Certification.
